Sabre Cook, the first female driver to compete in Porsche Carrera Cup North America, will return to JDX Racing for her fourth season in the championship and second consecutive year with the Colorado-based team in 2026.
The Colorado native continues with JDX Racing’s multi-car program as the series enters a new era with the debut of the Porsche 911 Cup (Type 992.2) and the introduction of Pirelli as the championship’s official tire supplier.
Cook has competed exclusively in the Pro class since entering the championship in 2023, making history as the first woman to take the green flag in Porsche Carrera Cup North America.
After joining JDX Racing ahead of the 2025 season, she recorded 11 point-scoring finishes, including a pair of top-seven results at the final round at Circuit of the Americas.
“I am excited and grateful to continue with JDX Racing in Porsche Carrera Cup North America for a second season,” Cook said.
“The environment within the team is great, and going into 2026 with guys I can trust – who are fully invested in our success as a team – is what builds the foundation for strong performances.
“I’m really enjoying the new 992.2 car and the new Pirelli tire. It’s going to be a fun season, and I can’t wait to fight hard on track for the JDX crew.”
The 2026 season marks the introduction of the new Porsche 911 Cup (Type 992.2), which features updated aerodynamics and a refined 4.0-liter flat-six engine producing approximately 520 horsepower.
The technical package is paired with Pirelli P Zero race tires, which made their series debut during the official test at Sebring International Raceway last month.
JDX Racing Team Principal Jeremy Dale said Cook’s return brings continuity and momentum to the program.
“We are so pleased to have Sabré back for her second season in a JDX Racing Porsche,” Dale said.
“Sabré is the definition of a professional – in and out of the car. Her attention to detail in every respect is incredible, and that showed last year as she gradually got comfortable with the team and made steady progress through the year.
“She finished the season super strong at COTA with a pair of top-seven finishes. We can’t wait to see her continue on that same trajectory in 2025.”
The 2026 Porsche Carrera Cup North America season opens March 18-20 at Sebring International Raceway, supporting the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship’s Mobil 1 Twelve Hours of Sebring. The event marks the first of eight rounds and 16 races on the calendar, concluding in October at Circuit of the Americas.
JDX Racing has competed in Porsche Carrera Cup North America since the championship’s inaugural 2021 season, following its success in the previous Porsche GT3 Cup Challenge USA by Yokohama era. The team claimed the driver’s championship in 2022 and has earned multiple race victories across each season of Carrera Cup competition.
All Porsche Carrera Cup North America races stream live on Peacock in the United States, as well as IMSA.tv and the IMSA YouTube channel internationally. Coverage is also available across Porsche Motorsport North America’s digital platforms, including YouTube, Facebook, X, and LinkedIn.
