Program Overview.
The Porsche Mobil 1 Female Program, is dedicated to fostering the growth and participation of female race car drivers throughout the Porsche Motorsport Pyramid North America. This initiative aims to create a supportive environment that showcases and nurtures female talent by equipping them with the necessary resources to excel in the world of motorsports.
Offering a unique platform for aspiring female drivers, the program enables them to hone their skills and pursue their dreams of becoming professional race car drivers. Scholarship recipients are granted a full season entry in either the Porsche Carrera Cup North America or the Porsche Sprint Challenge North America by Yokohama. Furthermore, these drivers benefit from tire support provided by the series tire manufacturers and gain direct access to PMNA competition advisor and Porsche Junior Program North America driving coach, Patrick Long.
Designed as a progressive pathway, the program offers a seamless transition from the Porsche Sprint Challenge North America by Yokohama Cayman class to the Sprint Challenge 992 class, ultimately leading to Porsche Carrera Cup North America. Sabré Cook, Madeline Stewart, and Chloe Chambers are the trailblazing first recipients of the Porsche Female Driver Development Program.
This Female Driver Development Program embodies Porsche’s unwavering commitment to promoting gender diversity in motorsports, paving the way for a more equitable future for all racing enthusiasts. By championing inclusivity and diversity, the program plays a vital role in reshaping the motorsports industry for the better.
The Vision.
At PMNA, one of our foremost goals is to cultivate and support emerging talent, with a particular emphasis on promoting gender diversity within the automotive industry. We acknowledge the current underrepresentation of women in this field and are steadfast in our commitment to effecting positive change. Porsche Motorsport North America aims to create opportunities for female talent to thrive at every level, from the workshop to the racetrack.
Our most prominent platform for showcasing this commitment is through our Porsche one-make series, where we provide aspiring female drivers with the chance to excel in the driver’s seat. Beginning in Sprint Challenge, we focus on nurturing and developing our drivers’ skills, with the ultimate objective of advancing them to the premier one-make racing series Porsche Deluxe Carrera Cup North America. Our long-term goal is to identify the perfect candidate who can then seamlessly transition into the competitive world of GT3 and GTP racing.

“One of our primary objectives at PMNA is to nurture young talent. We recognize the importance of drawing more female talent into the paddock at all levels. The most visible opportunity to showcase our objectives is from the driver’s seat of our Porsche one-make series. When we combine with their commitment and that of Kellymoss, we can now provide Sabré all the tools she needs to challenge for the Porsche Carrera Cup North America championship in 2023.
Being able to add the Porsche Sprint Challenge North America by Yokohama to our Female Driver Development Program has been an objective since we conceived the idea. It is natural to add this to each level of our Motorsport Pyramid. Through our partnership with Yokohama and USAC, we have been able to do it even sooner than we thought would be possible. Madeline and Chloe are a perfect addition to the program. They are both excellent drivers and very well received in the paddock. With Madeline, Chloe and Sabré together, I cannot think of three better drivers to represent the program.”
The Drivers.
SABRÉ COOK
Sabré Cook made her debut in the Porsche Carrera Cup North America in 2023, however she is already a well-established name in the world of racing and a familiar face to the Porsche brand. In 2021, she made history by becoming the first female driver in the Porsche Sprint Challenge North America by Yokohama to achieve a podium finish at Circuit of The Americas. This remarkable feat was accomplished during a one-off race weekend in the Porsche-only series while simultaneously competing in the W Series, an all-women’s formula car championship that serves as a feeder to Formula 1®.
After a successful karting journey that started at 8 years old, Cook’s racing journey transition to car racing in 2017 with small displacement single-seat, open-wheel formula cars. She quickly rose through the ranks, eventually earning several top ten finishes in the F3-based W Series. Now, she is fully committed to Porsche one-make racing, poised to take on the challenges and opportunities that lie ahead in the Porsche Carrera Cup North America.

MADELINE STEWART
Hailing from New Zealand, Stewart is making her mark in the No. 282 Porsche 911 GT3 Cup car for JDX Racing, competing in the 992 Pro/Am class of the Porsche Sprint Challenge North America by Yokohama. Madeline’s journey began in 2010 with karting, where she honed her racing skills until 2018. During this time, she achieved several notable accomplishments, including becoming the first female to win a round of the Australian Rotax Pro Tour and securing 2nd place in KZ2 at the New Zealand National Championships.
In 2019, Madeline relocated to Australia to pursue car racing, participating in both the Kumho Tyres Super3 series and the AUS F1000 series in the Western Australia State Championship. Despite missing two rounds, she managed an impressive 4th place finish in the championship. During the past two racing seasons, Madeline continued to showcase her talent in Porsche Michelin Sprint Challenge Australia.
“I feel very privileged to be part of the Porsche Female Driver Development Program,” said Stewart. “Coming over to race in the USA this year was a huge step, but I am grateful for the support I have already received. Programs like this really help to further my career in motorsport and it is fantastic to see Porsche Motorsport North America, Yokohama and USAC working so hard to support females climbing through the Porsche Pyramid. We have had a great first two rounds of the Championship, so I am looking forward to continuing on this year before making the step to Carrera Cup next year.”
CHLOE CHAMBERS
“Being part of the Female Driver Development Program is special. Having all of the support from Porsche and Porsche Motorsport is great,” said Chambers. “It is something that I am very appreciative of and I will try and represent the brand well. I have worked with Porsche Cars North America in the past with a Guinness World Record title achievement, but it is super cool now to be involved on the Motorsport side. I want to race in Le Mans. I would love to be doing it with Porsche. I grew up watching Porsches race and that is how I got into racing. It would be a goal to close out my career as a Porsche factory driver.”
