Porsche Motorsport North America has revealed the 2025 class for its prestigious Selected Driver program, naming Loek Hartog (Netherlands), Riley Dickinson (USA), and Tom Sargent (Australia) as this year’s rising stars.
The Porsche Selected Driver program is a key step in Porsche Motorsport North America’s talent development pyramid, designed to elevate emerging professionals by providing direct manufacturer support, expanded race opportunities, and mentorship across GT and endurance racing platforms.
All three drivers will continue their professional careers in 2025 in SRO and IMSA competition, after each initially made a name for themselves in the Porsche Carrera Cup North America.
Hartog introduced himself to American fans last year with a dominant championship-winning performance in Carrera Cup aboard the Porsche 911 GT3 Cup car. He also claimed the inaugural Cayman GT4 championship title in Porsche Endurance Challenge North America with Kellymoss teammate Michael Clark.
Additionally, he was part of the winning driver line-up for the inaugural Porsche 992 Endurance Cup 12-hour race at Spa-Francorchamps in Belgium. He also took a class win in the Indy 8 Hour at the famed Indianapolis Motor Speedway – the final round of the 2024 Intercontinental GT Challenge. Yesterday, he took victory for Tempesta Racing in the 24-Hour Series race at Spa Francorchamps.
This year, he is contesting the Pirelli GT4 America championship for the first time, teaming up with Dan Sibille in the No.9 Porsche Cayman GT4 RS CS for ACI Motorsports. Internationally, he is competing in the GT World Challenge Europe Endurance Cup in 2025 and will make his race debut in this year’s 24 Hours of Le Mans with Antares Au and Klaus Bachler with Manthey Racing’s entry in the LMGT3 class.
Dickinson, the Texas-born standout, returns to the program following a breakthrough 2024 season that included victories in the Michelin Pilot Challenge and a successful debut in the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship with the Porsche 911 GT3 R. Having progressed through the North American Porsche ladder system, Dickinson broke series records en route to his 2023 Porsche Carrera Cup North America championship win with Kellymoss.
Last year, he contested the Michelin Pilot Challenge Championship alongside Michael McCarthy with Kellymoss. The duo won both the opening and closing rounds of the championship at Daytona and Road Atlanta. This season, Dickinson will contest the PIrelli GT4 America Championship as teammate to ACI Motorsports team owner, Curt Swearingin. The duo scored a pair of podiums at the opening round of the championship recently at Sonoma Raceway.
Sargent, originally from Australia, quickly made a name for himself after moving to Porsche Carrera Cup North America in 2022. The Australian finished second in the championship and graduated to GT World Challenge America last year as teammate with GMG Racing’s Kyle Washington – taking victory at VIRginia International Raceway.
This year, Sargent made his IMSA debut with Wright Motorsport at the Daytona 24 Hour–finishing second with Adam Adelson, Elliott Skeer, and Porsche factory driver Ayhancan Güven.
“All three drivers came to our attention through their Carrera Cup performances and have again impressed as they have made the next step up the Porsche development pyramid in SRO and IMSA competition,” said Volker Holzmyer, President and CEO of Porsche Motorsport North America.
“Our Selected Driver program is designed to support their continued development as they take on more prominent roles within the Porsche GT racing ecosystem. We’re thrilled to support Loek, Riley, and Tom with their 2025 programs and excited to see their careers develop as part of the Porsche family.
The Porsche Motorsport Pyramid North America provides a clear path for drivers, teams, and marketing partners to progress through the ranks of sports car racing. From novice instruction and track days with Porsche road cars through to full participation in professional open competition around the world with purpose-built Porsche racing machines, Porsche Motorsport North America (PMNA) provides a map, appropriate car, and support throughout the journey.
It is the perfect career pathway to move through the sports car racing echelons. At each step on the Pyramid, Porsche provides the appropriate tools, personnel, and strategies to realistically model the career path for drivers, teams, and partners.
“It feels really special to be a part of the Porsche Motorsport North America Selected Driver Program—especially because this is the season where I need to transition from being a Silver-rated driver to a fully contracted professional,” Hartog said.
“Last season, I made it a goal to become involved in as many diverse programs as possible. I started planning early, setting up my calendar and trying to get my foot in the door for different Porsche opportunities.
“I’m really happy with how things came together—especially considering my results in Carrera Cup last season and in GT3 races, particularly the eight-hour race at Indy, which was a personal highlight. That performance helped me earn roles as a Silver driver in multiple programs.
“Carrying a title into this season certainly helps, and driving as many Porsche products as possible in one season is a big advantage. I’m excited to continue competing in the U.S. market in the GT4 America series.
“Driving the 911 GT3 R is still a big ambition of mine, and I’m becoming increasingly familiar with it here in the States.
“Looking ahead, IMSA remains a goal, and I’m proud to now represent the U.S. on the global stage—especially with the opportunity to race at Le Mans for the first time this year.”
“I’m very much looking forward to continuing in the Porsche Motorsport North America Selected Driver program,” Dickinson said.
“Obviously, this has been an instrumental piece in the Porsche driver development pyramid that we have here in North America. Continuing with the program is fantastic, and I can’t thank everyone at Porsche Motorsport North America enough for believing in me and continuing their support and partnership throughout the year, building on the successes we had last year.
“Last year was a great first year for me in the program, with highlights including wins at Daytona and Road Atlanta in the Michelin Pilot Challenge. I also had my debut in the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship with Riley Motorsports and Kelly-Moss in the GT3 R program.
“I’m looking forward to building on that this year with our SRO program and some other championships I’ll be racing in as well.
“We started off our season quite strong with a couple of podiums in GT4 America—a third and a second—at Sonoma for the season opener, and I couldn’t have been happier with that.
“We left that weekend tied for the championship points lead and are now heading into my home race at COTA, the three-hour endurance race for GT4 America.”
“I can’t thank everyone at Porsche Motorsport North America enough for their support and belief in me. It’s definitely an honor to continue in this program and be a small part of Porsche’s history in North America. It’s been a mainstay in the North American market for a while, and continuing that legacy is a very proud moment for me.”
“To be a part of the Porsche Motorsport North America Selected Driver program is a dream come true—to be able to wear the Porsche brand and represent it at a level where you’re part of the family,” Sargent said.
“It’s on the way to where I want to be, and it’s a massive achievement. I’m excited to have this opportunity and to represent it well.
“I’m fortunate to have multiple programs this year, including an SRO campaign in GT World Challenge with Kyle Washington, which is great.
“We did that last year, so we’ve got a good foundation to build on going into this year.
“Adding the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship to the schedule with the Endurance Championship with Wright Motorsports is a massive step forward for me as well.
“That’s been my ultimate goal—to compete in the IMSA Championship. Getting that chance this year with such a well-established team is exciting. It means I’m getting a lot of miles in the current Porsche 992 GT3 R car, which is fantastic.
“I’m now coming into my third year in the U.S. If I think back to when I arrived three years ago, I never would’ve thought I’d be in this position—at least not this quickly. I hoped I’d get here eventually, but it happened fast, and I owe a big thanks to the people who made it happen.
“A big thank you to Kyle and Adam Adelson for supporting me in joining these programs.
“This is definitely a step in the direction I want to go, toward being a factory Porsche driver. To be one step closer is really big, and I’m excited to represent the brand. Hopefully, I do it well, and I can’t wait for the rest of the year.”

Riley Dickinson reminded his 2025 Porsche Carrera Cup North America competitors at Sebring International Raceway just why he is a former champion in the series.
The 2023 Pro title winner returned with a vengeance after a one-year hiatus and completed an opening round sweep with Kellymoss.
After scoring the Race Brew Pole Award and subsequent Race 1 win on Thursday, Dickinson started from the pole position once again and led flag-to-flag en route to the double victory at Sebring by more than five seconds.
“It’s definitely been a great feeling to be back and after yesterday, definitely learned a lot,” said Dickinson after his second victory. “That was my first time for a full Carrera Cup race on Yokohamas, so I certainly learned how the tire builds throughout the race.
“Ultimately, I think we made a couple of adjustments in the positive direction on setup, and it feels good to be back.”
Ryan Yardley proved to be a valiant contender with Topp Racing but came up shy of the win at Sebring – finishing second in both contests. Meanwhile, JDX Racing’s Zachary Vanier improved race-over-race by finishing sixth on Thursday and landing third on the podium on Friday by less than a second.
In the Pro-Am class, JP Martinez has officially burst onto the Carrera Cup scene in his debut with ACI Motorsports, scoring both wins in Rounds 1 and 2. While Martinez fell back to second behind Pro-Am competitor Alan Metni at the start of race 2, the Miami-based racer regained the top spot before a lengthy yellow flag a few minutes into the contest.
“It feels amazing, and I can’t ask for a better start to the season with two wins, with a fast lap, with the poles,” said Martinez. “I’m really happy. I want to give a big thank you to ACI, the guys over there rock. The car was amazing and felt good today.
“It’s going to be a fun season, and I’m looking forward to it.”
Metni wound up runner-up for the second consecutive day with Kellymoss, while Martinez’s ACI Motorsports teammate, Marco Cirone, finished third just as he did the day prior.
Ruckus Racing’s Scott Blind continued his Porsche dominance with a weekend sweep of his own in the Masters class less than two weeks after securing wins in Porsche Sprint Challenge North America by Yokohama and Porsche Endurance Challenge North America.
“Sebring and PMNA, they’ve been really good to me,” Blind acknowledged post-race. “Porsche has really been good to me these last couple weeks. The team, I can’t say enough how great they are and how well they’ve done with this car and help from Andrew Davis. I don’t know, we’re just on a roll.”
Following behind Blind was Richard Edge with ACI Motorsports in second and JTR Motorsports Engineering’s Peter Atwater in third, mirroring Thursday’s results.
An enormous stage awaits Porsche Carrera Cup North America as the series joins Formula One at the Miami Grand Prix for its next doubleheader. Round 2 is scheduled for May 2 – 4.

Riley Dickinson capped off a dominant day at Sebring International Raceway, capturing the Race Brew Pole Award on Thursday morning and securing the first Porsche Carrera Cup North America presented by Penfed victory of the season later in the afternoon.
The 2023 Pro class champion led flag-to-flag in his return to the series after a hiatus in 2024 and drove his Kellymoss Porsche 911 GT3 Cup to the checkered flag with a margin of more than five seconds.
“I feel much better now, certainly,” said Dickinson after the win.
“That was a long night last night, just going through everything, going through qualifying this morning and for the race this afternoon. It was a lot of hard work to get here, for sure.
“A huge thanks to everyone back at Kellymoss for all their hard work in the offseason to get this program ready to go. It was a bit of a last-minute deal, and it’s good to be back.”
Ryan Yardley – last year’s runner-up in the Pro class title hunt – finished second to begin his championship campaign with Topp Racing. Jimmy Llibre and the ACI Motorsports crew finished third.
Another ACI Motorsports driver, JP Martinez, had an exceptional day, starting first and finishing first in the Pro-Am class. However, Alan Metni was hot on his heels in the closing minutes of the race, ultimately coming up shy by .337 seconds of the win. Metni’s Kellymoss Porsche split an ACI Motorsports duo, with Marco Cirone finishing third.
“I’m so happy, I’m so stoked,” said Martinez. “I couldn’t ask for more in my debut race – to top the charts in practice and qualifying and finish first place in the first race. It was tough. Metni was behind me until the last lap and we were battling out. I’m happy I could hold him off, and I’m thrilled with first place.
“I want to give a big thank you to ACI. It was all teamwork, and all the guys there did an awesome job. They setup the car, all the coaches, so I’m really happy.”
Meanwhile, in the Masters class, Scott Blind has now visited victory lane in Sebring three times this month – in Porsche Endurance Challenge North America and Porsche Sprint Challenge North America nearly two weeks ago, and on Thursday afternoon in Carrera Cup. The Ruckus Racing Porsche was untouchable throughout the contest, as Richard Edge with ACI Motorsports finished second and Peter Atwater with JTR Motorsports Engineering finished third.
“This is amazing, I love Carrera Cup,” Blind expressed after the race. “My focus this year is Carrera Cup and to win here at Sebring; it’s just fantastic.
“Porsche Sprint Challenge has been a huge help. Practicing those starts here at Sebring was important because you know how sketchy it can be in Turn 1. Having those extra starts, it really helped a lot.”
Race two of round one will race into the darkness at Sebring International Raceway, starting at 6:15 p.m. ET. The race will be streamed live on IMSA and Porsche Motorsport North America YouTube Channels, IMSA TV, Peacock, and the Porsche Motorsport North America social channels on Facebook, Linkedin, Threads, and X.

Riley Dickinson continued his strong return to Porsche Carrera Cup North America by posting the fastest lap in qualifying and earning the Race Brew pole award ahead of Thursday’s season-opening race.
At Sebring International Raceway, Dickinson – the 2023 Pro class champion – ran even quicker in qualifying than his pace-setting lap in Practice 1 on Wednesday. The Kellymoss driver and his Porsche 911 GT3 Cup car lapped the historic circuit at two minutes, 1.689 seconds.
“I’m just looking to continue developing the car and continue developing my craft,” Dickinson explained. “We have a long season ahead, of course, and it always feels good to get the first one out of the way. I was definitely worrying about it a bit last night, just going through the lap in my head and how we could get it done.
“All in all, it was a good session and I’m glad to be back.”
Ryan Yardley – who was quickest in Practice 2 – and Matheus Leist followed in second and third place, respectively.
In the Pro-Am class, JP Martinez rocketed to his first Race Brew pole position in the series and as a newcomer to longtime Porsche team, ACI Motorsports. Alan Metni, last year’s Pro-Am champion, and Martinez’s fellow ACI teammate, Marco Cirone, finished second and third on the qualifying time charts.
“The car felt great,” said Martinez. “The setup changes that we did were on point. It was nice and cool, and the car was fast. So I sent it and I got pole, so I’m really happy with that.
“Definitely in the race, I’ll be on the defensive. Obviously, I want to finish the race clean, there are a lot of competitors. But I want to go fast and that’s what I do. I want to go fast, but be clean.”
In the Masters class, Porsche Endurance Challenge North America race winner Scott Blind found first again and will start from the top spot on Thursday ahead of Peter Atwater and Rob Walker.
“The guys nailed the setup, they got the tire pressure just right,” said Blind. “We got it done on the first stint, so on the first set of tires, and it was perfect.
“I’ve got a bunch of fast guys behind me, so I want to have a clean Turn 1. Once I can get around Turn 1, it’s going to be a pretty good clean race. I just have to hold them off, and I think I can do it.”
Thursday’s first race (4:55 p.m.) will be shown live on IMSA and Porsche Motorsport North America YouTube Channels, IMSA TV, Peacock, and the Porsche Motorsport North America social channels on Facebook, Linkedin, Threads and X.
Race 2 is scheduled for Friday at 6:15 p.m. ET.
While the name at the top of the timesheet for the opening practice of Porsche Carrera Cup North America was very familiar, Riley Dickinson knows his return to the championship in 2025 is going to be a huge challenge.
The 2023 series champion set the fastest time of the morning practice session of 2.02.384 to top the timesheet for Kellymoss ahead of teammate and series rookie Aaron Jeansonne with JDX Racing’s Zachary Vanier in third.
“It’s great to be back in Carrera Cup and to be back with Kellymoss for the 2025 season. We had a good first day to build off of, and I’m looking forward to seeing how the rest of the event develops,” Dickinson said.
“This year is undoubtedly going to be a fight all year long with so many talented drivers in the Pro field. Having 19 cars in Pro makes qualifying tomorrow morning all that more important to get right.
“Once the green flag drops tomorrow afternoon, Carrera Cup will certainly put on a show for those at the track spectating as well as those tuning in for the live broadcast of the races.”
In the afternoon session, the rising track temperature impacted the times with last year’s series runner-up, Topp Racing’s Ryan Yardley, setting a fastest time of 2:03.103
Dickinson was second fastest for Kellymoss, with former Porsche Mobil 1 Supercup racer Michael de Quesada putting the Alegra Motorsports car in third.
“The track definitely degraded in the afternoon session as the day got hotter, but it was an interesting practice for us,” Yardley said.
“Obviously, it’s a nice way to finish for us in P1. But tomorrow is what counts. I’m looking forward to qualifying tomorrow and hopefully have the TCS car up front again.
“I think the track has changed so much since the test last week. So everyone is trying to catch up with the track and try to read that as best we can. It’s gonna be interesting tomorrow.”
In the Pro-Am class, it was former Sprint Challenge racer and series rookie J.P. Martinez who headed the times in both practice sessions.
Last year’s champion Alan Metni was P2 in both sessions, with Marco Cirone third fastest in session one and James Sofronas P3 in session two.
Last week’s Porsche Endurance Challenge North America GT3 Cup winner Scott Blind was the fastest man in the Masters class in the morning, while another Porsche Sprint Challenge North America by Yokohama graduate Peter Atwater was fastest in the afternoon.
Blind headed Atwater and Richard Edge (ACI Motorsports) in session one with Edge and Blind taking P2 and P3 in session two.
Cars return to the track tomorrow morning for qualifying at Sebring International Raceway at 9:15 a.m., with the opening race of the 2025 season going green at 4:55 p.m.
Tomorrow’s first race will be shownlive on IMSA and Porsche Motorsport North America YouTube Channels, IMSA TV, Peacock, and the Porsche Motorsport North America social channels on Facebook, Linkedin, Threads and X.
While the winners in motorsport will celebrate with champagne, the driver who earns the pole position in this year’s Porsche Carrera Cup North America will celebrate with beer – not just any beer – the first alcohol-free, 0.0% racing-inspired beer – Race Brew.
PT Autosport in partnership with Momentum Brewery will sponsor the Race Brew Pole Award for all rounds of this year’s Porsche Carrera Cup North America championship which kicks off at Florida’s Sebring International Raceway this week.
The first winner of the Race Brew Pole Award will be crowned this Thursday after the qualifying session at 9:15 am local time.
This year’s Porsche Carrera Cup North America will feature 16 races over eight race weekends. All drivers will compete with identical Porsche 911 GT3 Cup machines split into three different age brackets – Pro (under 35), Pro-am (35 to 50) and Masters (over 50).
“The collaboration between PT Autosport and Momentum Brewery came together through the common goal of providing an alcohol-free beer to the racing community that is high-quality, refreshing, and enjoyable among family, friends, and competitors,” said Alex Sedgwick, PT Autosport’s Head of Operations and Driver Development, who is supported by Race Brew in a soon-to-be announced Porsche race program.
“What better way to enjoy a successful qualifying than with an alcohol-free, 0.0% racing-inspired beer.”
PT Autosport is dedicated to providing merit-based motorsport industry opportunities for diverse individuals with high integrity, grit, and coachability achieved through a development program for young aspiring drivers, engineers, mechanics, and other professionals. Drivers can apply for the program at: www.drivershootout.com.
Over the past two seasons, PT Autosport combined with JDX Racing to field Sedgwick in Carrera Cup. The British ace finished fourth in last year’s championship and scored a race victory at Watkins Glen.
Momentum Brewery, founded in NY in 2023, is at the forefront of premium craft brewing for non-alcoholic beer, thanks to their groundbreaking German-engineered “Genius Yeast.” This innovative yeast and process naturally limit alcohol content to below 0.5% ABV while preserving the authentic craft beer experience.
Additionally, Race Brew will be the official sponsor for the Porsche Carrera Cup safety car for the second half of the 2024 season. This year’s safety car will be a 2025 Porsche 911 Carrera GTS.
The fifth season of Porsche Carrera Cup North America opens this week at Sebring International Raceway returning to where the championship began in 2021.
The 3.74-mile, 17-turn circuit in central Florida will be the site of races one and two of a total 16 in the season for Porsche 911 GT3 Cup race cars (type 992).
New and returning faces highlight the 32-car grid, which runs on the Yokohama ADVAN racing slick for the second consecutive year.

Sebring International Raceway is a long-standing favorite on the Porsche Carrera Cup North America calendar, opening the season every year since 2021.
A year ago, Loek Hartog and Gustav Burton split the weekend’s overall wins.
Porsche Carrera Cup North America has traditionally preceded the season with a test at Sebring, and this year was no exception.
Teams and drivers visited the track for two full days, March 3 – 4. Ryan Yardley and Topp Racing led the way with a best time of 2:02.042 overall and in the Pro class.
Yardley completed 122 laps during the two days. In all, 12 drivers set times that bettered the the 2024 pole qualifying time at Sebring (2:03.291), including drivers from Topp Racing (Yardley and Tyler Maxon), Kellymoss (Riley Dickinson and Aaron Jeansonne, JDX Racing (Zachary Vanier and Paul Bocuse), JTR Motorspors Engineering (Jared Thomas), ACI Motorsports (Jimmy Llibre and Yves Baltas), Alegra Motorsports (Michael de Quesada) and Nolasport (Matheus Leist),
Two drivers on the entry list this week call Florida home. Michael de Quesada is a Florida native who calls Tampa home, while 17-year-old Paul Bocuse lives with his family in Orlando.
Porsche Carrera Cup North America has, throughout its history, been an opportunity for international drivers to compete.
Through four seasons, each championship driver has come from a different country – Sebastian Priaulx (Great Britan), Parker Thompson (Canada), Riley Dickinson (United States) and Loek Hartog (Netherlands). This season’s grid represents five different nationalities.
In addition to a strong line-up of established teams, Rotek Racing joins the Carrera Cup North America grid for the first time in 2025.
Led by Robb Holland, Rotek Racing is the winningest team in GT America. Jaden Lander and Brady Behrman will conduct the season with Rotek Racing.
Additionally, longtime Porsche racers GMG Racing have committed to a full Porsche Carrera Cup North America season for the first time with championship-winning driver James Sofronas, with Patrick Mulcahy making his series debut alongside.
Three drivers will utilize the Mobil 1 Female Driver Development program to augment their racing in 2025.
Sabré Cook, who has been part of the program since its inception three years ago returns, joined by JDX Racing teammate Madeline Stewart and series newcomer Ashley Freiberg.
The program provides motorsport training and seminars and subsidized entry fees to all drives, while high performing drivers have an opportunity to earn a free set of Yokohama tires each race event.
PenFed Credit Union has joined Porsche Carrera Cup North America as a presenting partner, represented on each of the cars on the grid during the first two rounds (Sebring and Miami) and the final two rounds (Michelin Raceway Road Atlanta and Circuit of the Americas).
Tire partner Yokohama returns for a second season with the Yokohama ADVAN A005 slicks for dry sessions and the Yokohama ADVAN A006 for rain races.
Each Porsche 911 GT3 Cup will be fueled with Exxon Mobil Synergy Supreme + gasoline during on-track sessions.
Each driver wears a custom Sparco suit during races, with the quickest qualifier starting from the Race Brew Pole. Eboost earns status as official drink of Porsche Carrera Cup North America in 2025.
Pro. The highest level of competition in the Porsche Carrera Cup North America. The class is recognized through its orange color scheme. The car entry number will be delineated in orange on the doors, the windshield and rear glass. Headlight covers will be clear with orange cross-marks.
